Method, official sources and limits
The tool performs an intersection of declared capabilities for one exact source, receiver path and display input. A green row means only that every reviewed official page declares the feature. It does not mean the devices negotiated that feature.

What the result means
- DOCUMENTED_AT_EACH_HOP
- Each named official source declares the feature for the selected bounded path.
- DOCUMENTED_PORT_MISMATCH
- The selected exact ports do not form the documented path for the requested feature.
- UNKNOWN
- The tool does not have enough model-, port- or runtime-specific evidence and refuses to infer it.
Hard limits
- No EDID, log, image, serial number or account data is read.
- No firmware or service-menu action is recommended.
- A QR-verified cable label is user-reported; the tool cannot verify the scan or cable condition.
- Black screens or flicker remain unresolved symptoms. They do not identify a failed device, driver or cable.
- Unsupported models return UNKNOWN. Similar model names and HDMI version numbers are not substituted.
